Back!

Took a week off from blogging! been a little busy hehe. watched ironman, went girl hunting, and now i’m home and bored.  ive been a fat little piggy the past few weeks, with all the junk food.. but that’s ok.  it tasted good hehehe. i can’t say i wont do it again.

i also went around looking for blogs to visit! so far, i got one hit back hehe. thanks kat! you’re a girl, so i like you already.  peace! i’ll add you up tonight  

Band Recording

we recorded two songs earlier. two songs in three hours. my god. we did it in jazz’s studio/place thing. he’s sonny nicolas’ kid ehe. i dont really know sonny nicolas, but according to my dad, he was a pretty cool guitarist, jazzy (that would explain jazz’s nomenclature.)

anyways, the recording itself was terrible. of course, i blame no one since it’s the first time we’ve even HELD a bass guitar, and our drummer isnt really a drummer ^^; my dad stepped in and did some session guitar playing for us, so it DOES sound a bit cool, although the two songs definitely need a lot of work. oh well.

i played from 7am to 12pm today. i am sooo beat! x.x and it doesnt help that my leg still hurts from when i did that FINGER-ROLL layup last week (yes, i JUST learned to do a finger-roll layup recently.) ah well, gets the sweat out, so it’s cool.

i just lost to my friend! and i thought i was unbeatable in NBA live 2003!

Just Wondering

i was listening to "all i need" again, trying to figure out how to play it.. then i get how to play it. then i realize im using ALMOST THE EXACT broken chord pattern for this song ive already recorded. of course, the melody’s way different.. but still. this sucks!

let’s see, im using the exact same chord patterns (at least, according to the way i hear,) but my melody is quite different and i dont think the songs sound alike, and i wrote the song first before trying to play "all i need."

does that count as intellectual property theft?

Emo Self Image Rant

ever since the initial 7lbs i lost, i havent lose any more weight @.@ i think my metabolism has adjusted to my new lifestyle @.@ well, not really new lifestyle, just weight training twice a week + bball at night.

also, im getting pimples! i havent gotten pimples for so loooong! >< granted that they’re a sign of the male hormone thing, or at least i read they are, but that’s why i use cetaphil! @.@ actually, it started when my mom brought home a pack of cadbury chocolates — grrrr evil chocolates! xP

also, i wanna make a t-shirt from the image i just made.. might buy iron-on paper later today heheh. or does anyone know any easier way to do it?

hmn. btw, we lost to old guys last saturday. i had two turnovers and i split -frustrated-

you know how you do really stupid stuff when you’re young, like, 4-7 yrs old? and how you only realize how stupod you were when you grow up? wow. and i was already 15 by then! amazing.

HAPPY BDAY TO ME!

well, yesterday was my bday. hmn.. i woke up around 11pm, to find most a lot of my cousins around for my lil bro’s surprise bday party (it got postponed,) and it turns our we’re having ONE CONSOLIDATED party, except it was only a surprise for him.

so we played games, all of which i lost, except the one with the pinata, since i always somehow got those things a lot xD also, i played a game of bball with one of my cousins who used to play for varsity. i won xD

for dinner, i treated the family. kimpura. heheh i love that place xD but parting with money was so traumatic x.x yaks.

then we went home, cut the cake. it was about 11:30pm. THEN came the gifts. they got me a cd rack. and my parents gave me (insert monetary value.) in cash.

my first reaction was, "i can’t accept this!" i just felt like the amount was kind- WAY TOO MUCH FOR JUST A BDAY GIFT X.X well, they forced me to take it anyway. i’ll just deposit it in one of my accounts @.@ wow.

Random Trip

hmn. i just got back from baguio. it was cool. hehe *pun* Ü

so i was in this bar, right? hmn, gimbals ata. anyways, i wanted to see some good bands, but i didnt catch any xP geh, it was a HUGE disappointment. THEN i noticed this hottie about 2 tables in front of me.. she was kinda like lookin at me, then whispered to her friend, then they were BOTH looking at me. i thought it was very cool.

so what did i do? nothing. "wtf dyou mean ‘nothing’?!" nothing, nada, zip. why? because i never quite got comfortable with the thought of picking up girls. i mean, i told a friend about it and he told me i should have gone over and introduced myself. i dunno..

i guess a big part of it comes from being chinese. i mean, i believe in robert palmer’s
"whether yellow, black or white.. each and every man’s the same inside," but i feel like my upbringing has created some sort of segregation between the two races (fil and chi,) at least romantically, even tho my parents are ok with the idea of me ending up with a filipina. so i really dont get it sometimes! and it sucks because i go for a lot of filipinas! i.e. donita rose, barbie almalbis, the girl from the bar.. nyeks. well, im so sick of it next time, il be my usual overconfident self and introduce myself to anyone

it’s true. i really like girls. i mean, not just as a gf, but as everything. a friend, a sister, whatever. i like how they try really hard to look good for me, and a billion other guys like me, and though i may complain, i actually appreciate how they spend so much time doing it.

More Rain

i noticed how a lot of people on my friends list dont seem to like rain.. well, i like rain. in fact, id have to say i LOVE rain. in fact, i walk from one office building to another office building in the rain, because it’s sooo.. something, i dunno Ü

of course, i dont like humidity, or being on damp earth, or messing up my hair, but all in all, i love rain. just sharing

and it just occured to me how i always want to be in either the US or europe or canada or hongkong or somewhere else when im here, but how i can never wait to get back home when im in those places.

and i also designed my dreamhouse this afternoon. you guys should see the see-through, olympic size indoor pool overlooking the wooden court. yknow, in the same gym housing the tennis courts, not the one where the sauna*S* and jacuzzi*S* are. that one’s next to the garage for the benz’s xD

Love the Rain

the band’s coming over tomorrow for a while, to pay homage to m- i mean, to write a couple of songs. supposedly. i think it means we play nba live >D but seriously, i do have plans of writing, for real. not that there’s much to write about. my heart hasnt been broken in months! xD

it rained a lot again today. i mean, the uhhrm, canals in the middle of the street were looking like swimming pools @,@ the garbage that people throw in there xP yeah, rain does have a few lousy things to it. a lot of people are cold, hungry, wet and miserable. and dying. that’s basically all that sucks about it, for me anyway.

…i mean, you can always go to the beach even if it’s raining, eh? in fact, ive done that about as many times as ive gone to the beach when it’s NOT raining, and it’s all sunny. i like the rain more no dikyas (jellyfish.)

Random Thought

i was just thinking.. in a really romantic, class, tasteful setting.. with a singer and a real band backing him up singing classic love songs.. would i rather be the couple, lost in the world the singer and setting’s created? or would i rather be the singer, being part of everybody’s world, and in a sense, "getting off" with everybody?

i usually do the locking up here at home, and during the summer, it’s really great. there’s a sampaguita tree right beside our gate, and when i lock up, i usually stay there for a while. summer really brings out the best scents from that tree i stayed about half an hour swingin in the hammock a few feet away from the tree Ü Ü Ü
